seventeen, diez y siete, dix sept

Ah, yes my favourite day of the year (not), my birthday. The only part about my birthday that I ever really enjoy is the fact that I get to tell people why 7 is my lucky/favourite number. (I was born on the 7th day of the 7th month, I was 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and born at 2:27 pm. I also recently realized my shoe and ring sizes are both 7.)
On the plus side, I received an amazing gift that really made me happy. As much as it doesn't sound believable, it really is little things, not the big materialistic things that show you care.

(Donna, if you ever find this blog, thank you, it was amazing to receive a gift with so much thought put into it. )

It's been an interesting year to say the least, but I'll have to agree with most people when I say that I wouldn't regret any of it.

Here's to hoping that my seventeenth year of life is even better.

happy 143rd canada!

ahhh Canada Day, our 4th of July, except...on July 1st. Unfortunately did nothing productive today, and plans fell through, which is annoying but I need to get used to it!

Anyway, I've been lusting over the Sam Edelman 'Zoe' boots over the past few days (y'know the ones inspired from those crazy '06 Balenciaga boots seen on MK&A). I used to see them a lot, and never used to understand the ~big deal, but now I NEED THEM.

Fortunately, the price has gone down (from $350 to $200). UNFORTUNATELY, I still lack the funds to purchase them. I'm looking forward to work when I will possibly have the funds for them. But my first priority has always been and still is to buy my baby!

This baby will hopefully be mine by the end of summer, I've lusted after it for so long... I think it's time I make the investment. :) Although, I have a feeling this will lead to a horrible addiction!

Enough of these pictures, it's making me sad I'm lacking mucho dinero right now. Hopefully I'll take my camera with me to Ribfest tomorrow and get some pictures. I love seeing food photos in blogs.

This post is long overdue (I'm posting it 10 days after I started writing it...so yes the post date is wrong), I've failed quite miserably with writing posts and although I don't have any readers; my apologies! I can't even say I've been busy really, until lately anyway. I decided to do an online course, and next Monday I also start summer school. Should be an interesting month to say the least. I'll try to do another post later tonight (after I've done some online assignments and drawn for a bit), but for now I bring you these photos to summarize the past week and a half.

I saw these posted on another blog, and may I just say I think I'd practice walking in heels more JUST to wear these beauts. Ugh, I seriously need a job to support what seems to be my growing expensive taste. Any offers?

I suppose I should have some sort of ~introduction, no? No, that picture isn't of some stranger, it's me! After reading many blogs I've grown to love (I think I'll make a list of my favourites and post on the side), I've decided to start my own. I like to think that this blog will be mostly used for current inspirations/wants, and maybe some outfit posts in the future. I think that's all I got for now.
